Their principal, David Drakos, explained that the school plans a week of residential education for every student each year to explore communities unlike the Pacific Northwest.

Because her class spans 3 grade levels, this is the third year some of her students have come for a residential week. Montessori students take a weeklong trip during the school year to broaden their understanding of the land and community of life we all share.
