Thirteen 4th and 5th graders and their teachers from Harmony & Riverbridge Elementary Schools were here for a week of environmental education.
Riverbridge teacher, Cathy Atkinson, notes that because Harmony and Riverbridge students come from a ranching area, the Kelly Campus is a special place that gives her students a unique experience to focus on science and the environment that strengthens her teaching. Here, kids can observe nature and the relationship between the environment and animals. Because of their experience here, the two schools plan exchange programs on return home. In this photo students journal their observations of an Aspen Community in Lower Meadow.
