Next week’s highlights:
Monday – Hike up Vogel’s Hill, 12:45 pm depart from Pre-K to meet up with the rest of the school by 2 pm at the top of the butte. It is an annual tradition for all Journeys School students and faculty to hike up the hill. Please pack sneakers for your child on this day.

Tuesday – LAST DAY OF SCHOOL Journey to Jenny Lake, 8:15 am departure – 3:15 pm return. Please be sure your child has appropriate clothing and shoes, sunscreen, a water bottle, a hat, and a field lunch for the journey. There is still room for two more parent volunteers, if anyone is interested.

End of the Year Thank Yous
Thank you to all our families who attended the End of the Year Celebration and Pre-K graduation. Thanks, especially, to Susannah Lynch, Jean Lewis, Liz Heineken, Annie Putnam, Kerry Carr, and Kelly Morris for providing refreshments, snacks, and a photo opportunity for all the precious Pre-K graduates. Jean Lewis and Susannah Lynch have been our amazing Pre-K Parent Council Members this year and have been organizing many of our fabulous events throughout the year - they both deserve special recognition! Thank you to all our families for working together to honor us (Pre-K teachers) in such a heartfelt and meaningful way.

Lost and Found and Cubbies
Please take a moment to clean out your child’s cubby before the year’s end and check the lost and found before departing for the summer. All items left behind will be donated to Browse N’ Buy in an effort to clean the space before summer programs.

Summer Mailing for Returning Pre-K Children
Keep your eyes peeled for our summer mailing (coming to your PO box or mailbox soon)…traditionally this includes an activity for you and your child to complete over the summer. In addition, we ask that you make sure to take a family photography during one of your summer adventures.
