Save the date: the Journeys School Gala & Auction will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012. This year’s theme is “The Snow Ball.” The auction committee, made up of fellow Journeys School parents, is hard at work figuring out how to transform the Nelson Family Dining Lodge into an icicle and snowflake sprinkled ball room. The festive evening will include dinner, dancing, drinks, and live and silent auctions. Tickets cost $75 per person or $125 per couple. Look for your invitation in the mail around the turn of the year! We hope to see each of you there!

We also hope you’ll take a moment to think about how you can help make the auction a success. To reach our fundraising goal, we need as many parents to participate as possible. What are your passions? Perhaps your passion is skiing. Maybe you even work in the ski industry. Can you help us secure a donation of lift passes, resort stays, lessons, rentals or elegant dinners? Maybe you can even put together a weekend getaway package. Donations can span the spectrum. Be creative! Maybe you’re an expert in Indian cooking and want to pass on the art in an evening lesson. Or maybe you have a knack for hosting the “bestest, funnest party ever.”
