The 4th Annual Bunnery Benefit, the State of the School Dinner, and the 7th Annual Amangani Evening and Auction - please mark your calendars for these three upcoming, fabulous events!
First, plan to dine at The Bunnery Restaurant on Saturday, November 6th between 7:00am and 3:00pm for the tastiest way around to support our school! Thanks to the generosity of the Yvernault and Labbé families, all proceeds from the day will be donated to the Journeys School Annual Fund. Even if you can’t make it for breakfast or lunch, stop by and enjoy a hot chocolate and cookies, or take home a pie or pastries for breakfast at home the next day. Our goal for the event is to raise $10,000 for the Journeys School Annual Fund, and we can’t do it without your support. Tickets for the event’s iPad raffle are available for $20 online on Teton Science Schools’ website.
Second, don’t miss the State of the School Dinner on Wednesday, November 10th from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Clarke A. Nelson Dining Lodge on the Jackson Campus. Catch up with friends and meet new parents during cocktails (starting at 5:30pm), enjoy dinner at 6:00pm, and hear Head of School Nate McClennen deliver the State of the School address at 6:30pm. Nate will be discussing the vision and practice of education at Journeys School. Please let us know if you will join us by contacting Sam Kitchen, Registrar, to RSVP at sam.kitchen@tetonscience.org or at 733-3729.
Last but certainly not least, we hope to see you at the 7th Annual Amangani Evening and Auction on Friday, December 10th. Please join us for “A Literary Journey” in support of education. All funds raised at this event go to the Journeys School Annual Fund, which helps cover operations for this year. You should have received the lovely letter (via email) from Pamela Dunn and Caroline Labbe, our volunteer parent co-chairs, explaining the theme further and asking for all members of the Journeys School community to consider making a donation to the auction (if you missed the letter, please click here). We are lining up a fantastic slate of auction items, parties, and Teacher Initiatives, but it is certainly not too late to participate if you are interested in helping out! Please contact Maggie Schilling, Events Coordinator at maggie.schilling@tetonscience.org or 734-3728 with any donation ideas, questions, or concerns.
We hope to see you out and about this November and December in support of Journeys School. Thanks for your interest and participation!
