How do I join the Teton Research Institute team?

When does seasonal hiring take place?

Most of our seasonal projects occur in late Spring through early Fall, so hiring typically begins early in the year.

Can I choose my own area of expertise or will I be assigned a project?

Generally new staff is added to support specific projects, but we are always looking for new opportunities and staff is encouraged to seek projects in their area of interest or expertise.

I raise cattle (elk, bison, sheep, llamas). How can Teton Research Institute help me?

My land is affected by critters/weeds/damage. How can the Teton Research Institute help me?

The Teton Research Institute can help identify areas of concern in land management and develop a plan to address your needs. Our staff is trained in weed identification and control and can work with you to develop a restoration plan for your property. For more information, see Contract Stewardship Services.

I am a landowner/developer/land planner. How can the Teton Research Institute help me?

We offer assistance with land use planning, including Biological Inventories and Environmental Assessments. If you have an interest in conservation, we can help. I work with the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management. How can the Teton Research Institute help me?

The Teton Research Institute collaborates with Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management permittees to ensure that appropriate management actions are implemented on public lands. We have extensive experience in monitoring vegetation according to agency regulations and preparing and reviewing Environmental Assessments and other planning documents. We work closely with agency personnel and our clients to maintain positive working relationships and to improve the land resource.
