Residential Boarding Program
Journeys School has a small residential boarding program for our high school International Bacalaureate curriculum. Jackson Hole is an extraordinary mountain valley that offers countless opportunities for exploration and discovery. Combined with a significant arts/culture community in the valley, the area offers a cosmopolitan feel in a small rural town. The boarding experience at Journeys School is the perfect combination of challenging academics and rural America.
All boarding students are enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program at the high school level. Weekend and after-school experiences include outdoor trips, cultural experiences, robotics team, and athletics, among many other opportunities. Students live in dorms on our 800 acre campus and share meals with one another. Each student has a partner family that lives in the valley. Students spend vacation time living with these families.
The experience that our boardings students have is significant, both in terms of academic challenge and innovative education. The global focus of the curriculum allows for exchange students and local students to interact and discuss issues relevant to the 21st century. Successful applicants will have reviewed the high school curriculum and are willing to commit to the philosophy and culture of Journeys School.
