Support Journeys School

You did it! The 2013-14 Journeys School 5-Week Annual Fund campaign is over! As of December 13, 2013, the gross income from the 5-week campaign reached $533,202 which exceeds our budgeted target. The historic 66% participation number has been left behind with a new record of  83%. This fantastic news reinforces the commitment to excellence and community at our school.

Thank you staff, board, alumni, families and friends for contributing to the Annual Fund and giving your time and talents to ensure the health and vitality of Journeys School continues far into the future. It makes a big difference, and now, for the rest of the fiscal year (through May 31, 2014), we can put annual fundraising on a back burner and keep the school’s focus directly on the education of our students. Congratulations to everyone for making the 2013-14 5-week campaign a successful annual fund drive.

What is the 5 week Annual Fund Drive?

From the State of the School evening on November 6th, through the Gala on December 13th, the Annual Fund need is $468,000 to support Journeys School. This Annual Fund supports IB programming, tuition assistance, extended journeys, art studio and music education, technology and innovation and much more. This 5 week campaign is a concentrated effort, led by Nate McClennen and the Philanthropy Team, aimed a shortening the fundraising season and embracing 2014 with strength, confidence and established best practices.  During these 5 weeks we will be holding phone-a-thons, organizing a fundraising event (Gala & Auction), arranging individual asks and hoping for 100% participation from parents.
