This classroom and field-based course is available to residents of Wyoming and residents of watersheds in neighboring states. The program focuses on training in water quality monitoring and includes monitoring supplies, meals, lodging, and two graduate credits. Participants will build the foundation to initiate monitoring projects in their home communities. The workshop will culminate in a full day of hands-on stream testing. Participants will receive a full set of monitoring equipment upon completion of the workshop and will be eligible for a follow-up visit during the academic year from Wyoming Stream Team staff to assist in their monitoring projects. Based at the Kelly Campus of Teton Science Schools.
The workshop cost is $100 and includes all meals and lodging, 2 graduate credits, $650 worth of stream monitoring equipment and classroom curriculum materials.
