Aaron Nydam, M.S. – Aaron is a passionate mentor of aspiring educators, empowering their deliberate practice and intentional design. Through his teaching career Aaron delivered place-based learning within formal and informal instructional contexts including Colorado Outward Bound School, Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning and at Mountain Academy. After earning a master’s degree focused on science literacy, he is currently working toward his Doctorate at the University of Wyoming exploring the intersection of progressive, place-based education and culturally responsive teaching. At Teton Science Schools, Aaron serves as Director of the Graduate Program in which aspires to execute systems and structures that empower colleagues and increase programmatic outcomes. He also loves his family and his bikes.
