B.A. in Anthropology (Biocultural Anthropology and Archaeology)
After graduating from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Anthropology, Alex moved back to her hometown in eastern Washington state to work in Cultural Resource Management. Assisting local Tribes to protect and preserve areas of cultural significance sparked her curiosity about the value of place, a topic which she’s eager to further explore at Teton Science Schools. While back home, Alex was offered the opportunity to coach her old high school dance team which, in addition to being raised by a teacher, furthered her interest in teaching and education.
