University of Wisconsin – Superior, 2022, B.S in Elementary Education with a Minor in Science Education
Brittanie was born and raised in Sheboygan, WI on the sandy shores of Lake Michigan. Growing up as the oldest sibling of five, living in an ecologically rich area, and traveling to see new places helped to shape her love for nature, wildlife, and working with kids. She has always had fun working with kids and after being employed at the Boys & Girls Club and an elementary school as an instructional aide, she realized she wanted to take her passion for kids and science and turn it into a teaching career.

While in the Teton Science Graduate program, Brittanie hopes to learn how to meaningfully connect her students to science within their communities, teaching them how to make positive impacts with what they learn. She is excited to be immersed in a landscape and community that is drastically different from what she grew up in, and hopes to see lots of wildlife!

In her free time, you can find Brittanie reading, playing board/card games, watching movies or tv shows, and of course trying to find any and all animals!
