Originally from California, Cameron (Cami) grew up in Park City, Utah learning to bake, make art, ski, horseback ride, and appreciate all things outside. To explore her interests in biodiversity and conservation, Cami attended Boston College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies. At BC, she served as president of Outdoor Adventures, an organization that introduces BC students to the New England wilderness. In her senior year, Cami built upon her experience at a summer internship by writing a thesis about Indigenous Peoples’ involvement in energy marketplaces. Following her graduation, Cami worked as a naturalist and wrangler in Jackson, where she embraced place-based education as she taught visitors about the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. This led her to serve with TSS through AmeriCorps, hoping to live out her alma mater’s motto—“Becoming men and women for others”—in one of the most beautiful places on earth!
