Belizean at heart, Connally grew up in the Belize District and now lives outside of Belize City. She loves living outside the city because of the abundant wildlife, starry skies and peace and quiet. She has an extensive background in environmental work in Belize with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management from the University of Belize. She has worked as Program Assistant and Field Instructor and Program Coordinator at Ecology Project International. Attracted to EPI because of the focus on international collaboration, environmental stewardship and working with younger generations to cultivate positive interactions with nature. She looks forward to increasing her knowledge of place-based education and experiencing a different environment!
