Darylann comes to TSS with experience in the non-profit, government and education sectors. As a first generation college graduate, she is passionate about finding ways to create diverse and inclusive learning spaces. Since graduating from the University of Denver, with a degree in International Business, Darylann has worked as a Backcountry Trip Leader at Teton Valley Ranch Camp; as a Days for Girls -Health Educator in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa; as an Academic Assistant for School District 60 in Colorado; as a natural farmer in Hanoi, Vietnam; and most recently as an Operations Supervisor for the U.S. Census Bureau. These experiences have served as catalysts for her interests in public service and place-based education. In her free time, Darylann enjoys practicing yoga, reading historical fiction and poetry, horseback riding, hiking and rock climbing. She’s definitely a summer girl but is eager to grow her skiing abilities this winter.
