Emily joins TSS a year after graduating from College of Charleston with a psychology major as well as an environmental and sustainability studies minor. She spent much of her undergraduate career combining her passion for both subjects by volunteering for various conservation nonprofit organizations. While interning at the South Carolina Aquarium and the Avian Conservation Center, she found that the greatest facilitator of behavioral change is through education. She hopes that her time spent at TSS will help her gain the skills to also be a facilitator of positive change. In her free time, Emily may be found in the Appalachian mountains hiking and swimming, searching for her new favorite beer at a local brewery, or caring for plants and animals.
