Jaqueline Parker

Jackie is from Birmingham, Alabama. She is currently studying natural resources management and nature-based recreation at Auburn University. Jackie has been president of Auburn’s Society for Natural Resources, a member of Auburn’s Forest Environment Wildlife Leadership Academy, an undergraduate lab technician for the study of brown spot needle blight, and works on campus as a rock climbing attendant and the trip supervisor for Auburn Outdoors. Her
main goal is to work for the National Park Service as an environmental interpreter and guide. Jackie joined TSS Americorps because she has a passion for outdoor recreation and place-based environmental education. In her spare time, she enjoys backpacking, kayaking, hiking, listening to vinyl and spending time with her cocker spaniel, Louis.
