Katherine Yang

Katherine grew up in Ambler, Pennsylvania and recently graduated from Williams College with a degree in chemistry. Her time in the Berkshires instilled in her a deep appreciation for the beautiful outdoors and a commitment to integrating environmental conservation into her chemistry research. This passion for community and impact-centered environmental work has led her to join the TSS AmeriCorps program. Katherine is excited to work with place-based education models, develop STEM literacy skills, and explore the Tetons. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, swimming in various bodies of water, spontaneous adventures, and playing ultimate frisbee.
