Keren is joining the Teton Science School Graduate Program after spending the majority of her professional career playing outside, and is eager to create transformative ways to continue to do so in an educational context. Before shifting her attention to the mountains, she studied Political Science at Stanford University. More recently, she has led hiking and biking tours around the world, everywhere from the coast of Croatia to the forests of New Zealand, but keeps coming back to Wyoming to share in the magic of the Tetons. Keren is a semi-reformed raft guide and spends as much time as she can paddling rivers, along with camping, mountain biking, and snowboarding in the mountains.
