BA Art & Design with a minor in the Environment
Libby is a 2020 graduate of the Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design at the University of Michigan. Her interdisciplinary path of study led to the creation of artwork which explored the communication of environmental topics to broad audiences, making space for accessibility and inclusivity in the outdoors. Her interest in outdoor education was sparked by her internship with the National Park Service at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore during the summer of 2017. In 2019, Libby traveled to Kathmandu, Nepal, with a UM cohort to collaborate with local community members in addressing water pollution and water scarcity through clay water filter research and manufacturing. In her free time, Libby enjoys hiking, climbing, fly fishing, painting and spending time with friends and family.
