Mary Rose

Mary Rose comes to the Teton Science Schools after working as a researcher, teaching assistant, and park ranger. She was born and raised in small-town New Hampshire, but spent time in South Asia and New Zealand in her teens. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Michigan and spent summers working in Alaska and New Hampshire’s White Mountains. She has a passion for science, education, and spending long periods of time in remote places. She is spending the summer of 2021 section hiking Washington and Oregon on the PCT and missing her large and close-knit family.
