Mitchell Smith

Mitchell graduated from Ohio University with a degree in wildlife and conservation biology. He studied spotted salamander migration and soil ecology in college. He has worked for the forest service performing trail maintenance and conducting spotted owl surveys in Oregon. Mitchell decided to join AmeriCorps at TSS because he wanted to show other people how to enjoy nature as much as he does. In his free time he enjoys hiking, playing soccer, and making snail YouTube videos. Yes, he has a love for snails and slugs 🙂
