Two inspiring campuses in one amazing place…

Located less than two miles from the town of Jackson, the Jackson Campus of Teton Science Schools is nestled on a 900-acre site comprised of creeks, ponds, aspen, conifer, grassland and sage habitats. Guests can enjoy spectacular views from over two miles of hiking trails and relax in the naturally lighted, environmentally sound residential and dining lodges. The Jackson Campus can accommodate meetings and special events for as many as 300 guests, with adaptable modern spaces.

Set on a historic dude ranch inside Grand Teton National Park, the Kelly Campus is the longtime home of Teton Science Schools. From here one may enjoy views extending from the foot of the Gros Ventre Mountains through the sage flats of Jackson Hole and across the Snake River to the rising of the majestic Teton Range. This campus houses the Murie Museum, where ecological work centers on field science experiences in a wilderness setting, and is comprised of rustic log buildings preserved in a historic western setting. High Performance Design

All buildings at the Jackson Campus of Teton Science Schools were designed to meet specific responsible goals and objectives. Buildings are concentrated on less than two percent of the total campus acreage. Narrow building footprints are oriented to maximize daylight, passive solar gain and natural ventilation. Radiant concrete floors provide high heating efficiency and a demonstration photovoltaic system is tied into the power grid.

“The buildings created at the school are spacious; the construction materials chosen are eco-friendly, no frills, and handsome. The atmosphere is very satisfying. It is with pride that we can have our meetings in this fine facility which has been positively received by the community.” – Doyen McIntosh, Thursday Roundtable Fund
