All School Announcements
Parent Council has produced an All School Yearbook for 2014/2015. Delivery will be in the beginning of June, prior to the end of the school year. The hardcover, 60 page yearbook includes class pictures, individual portraits, candid and journeys photos plus other special events. The cost is $25 per book. Please print the order form and return it to school by May 15 if you would like to place an order.

In conjunction with Jackson Hole Youth Lacrosse’s Mountain Round-Up lacrosse tournament next weekend, Journeys School will be hosting an all ages BBQ and NCAA Quarterfinals viewing party! Bring a Friend Day
Monday, March 18
Journeys School K-12th grade students are invited to bring a friend to school on Monday, March 18. This is a great opportunity for students to share their school. Pizza lunch will be provided to all students in K-12. Students that bring a friend will be entered into a drawing for a school prize. Journeys School students should RSVP for their friend by March 15, however, space is limited so don’t delay (first come first served)! Donor Appreciation Happy Hour

Please join the Journeys School Development team for a Donor Appreciation Happy Hour at the Q Roadhouse on Thursday, May 28th, 5:30 – 7:30 pm. We would like to kick off the summer season with some fun as well as express our gratitude for your contributions to the 5-Week Annual Fund Campaign (back in November and December) and all your various support throughout the rest of the year. Graduation & End of Year Celebration

All Journeys School families are encouraged to attend the 2015 graduation ceremony Wednesday, June 3 from 5:30-6:45 pm. We will celebrate our graduating seniors and recognize 5th grade students' graduation from elementary school and 8th grade students' graduation from middle school. Spread the Love Project
Senior Collin Daily is representing "The Spread the Love Project" here at Journeys School. Spread the Love works to take donated supplies, and create care packages for the homeless, filled with necessary supplies for living. The donation bin (it's white and is decorated with red hearts) is next to the lost and found in the south side of the high school building. Currently accepted supplies include:
Clothes: Gloves, trucker hats, beanies, clean t-shirts, socks, underwear sports bras, sweat shirts and jackets.
Sanitary products: face wipes, toothbrushes, tooth paste, face cream, sunscreen.
Utilities: Work gloves, army blankets, p38 can openers on chains to go around neck for safe keeping (at army surplus with blankets), water bottles, small flash lights.
Canned food: Tuna, Hormel chili, etc., and Protein bars.
5th Grade Capstone Presentations
Tuesday-Friday, May 19-22, 8:30-11:45 am
All Journeys School parents are invited to the 5th Grade Capstone Presentations. Presentations will be held upstairs in the Teacher Learning Center (the building where the Journeys School office is located). If you attend on a given day, please plan to stay for the whole morning's session to reduce distractions caused by people coming and going and to show support for all of the presenters. School Arts Spectacular
The School Arts Spectacular at the National Museum of Wildlife Art was a success! Thanks a million to all families who joined us and celebrated the wonderful works of young artists from the entire Teton County School District, the Classical Academy and Journeys School. If you were not able to attend the event, please visit the exhibition. The show will be displayed until June 2, 2015. Congratulations to our winning Young Illustrators Kai McClennen and Hayes Millham! Copies of their impressive work will be displayed until the fall of 2015.

Journeys School faculty are very appreciative of all the time and energy parents dedicate to Parent Council. On Monday Coleen Regan generously treated the entire faculty to a fabulous "Teacher Appreciation Lunch". Thank you so much for the thoughtful and delicious lunch!

Senior students and high school faculty are grateful for the generous and enthusiastic support of the Senior Parents (with special kudos to Jessie Lang and Anne Ladd) for the “College Decision Day” surprise lunch party that seniors celebrated on Friday, May 1st. What a great way to honor students’ accomplishments thus far and remind students to make the most of the time that is left before graduation!
Parent volunteers are encouraged to assist with community lunch. To volunteer, please arrive in the dining lodge at 11:40 am. All lunches include garden fresh salad, orange slices, cookies and milk.
