Sign Up for the 4th Annual Journeys School Talent Show!
The 4th Annual Journeys School Talent Show will be held on Friday May 2nd at 5:00 pm. We are excited to announce that this year the talent show will be held onstage at the Pink Garter Theater. The Pink Garter will offer concessions during the show, including pizza from PinkyG’s. There are plenty of comfortable seats, so invite your friends and family to enjoy performances from our talented students (and Nate!). Tomorrow Night: Teton Valley Community School’s 2nd Annual Barn Dance and Silent Auction
What: This event supports the Teton Valley Community School’s Annual Fund
When: Saturday, April 26, 7:00 pm
Where: Moose Creek Ranch, Victor, Idaho
Details: $40 per person, adults only please. Tickets will be available at the door. Music by One Ton Pig and food provided by Spoons Bistro.

Parent Council Coffee: College Counseling and Parent Involvement

Heather Marks, Director of College Counseling, will present information about the college counseling process. We will also be discussing parent engagement and ways to increase parent involvement. Please come with your thoughts and ideas for a group discussion! The meeting will follow an informal coffee gathering. Please come to the coffee even if you can't stay for the meeting! National Museum of Wildlife Art, Wapiti Gallery
Come celebrate the arts! Journeys School's 9th and 10th grade art classes and Teton County School District's K-12 art classes will have art work on display at the National Museum of Wildlife Art's Wapiti Gallery from May 1 – June 1. Please join us for the opening night celebration on Thursday, May 1 from 4:30-6:00 pm. We hope to see you there!

The Summer Academy at Journeys School
July 7 – August 1, 2014 (4 weeks)
Looking for enrichment and acceleration experiences for your student(s) during the summer months? The Summer Academy at Journeys School offers courses focused on thematic areas of mathematics, writing, chemistry, language, performing arts, college preparation, and more. There's even a for-credit high school geometry class! Most courses run for one week from 9:00 am - noon or from 1:00-4:00 pm. Participating students are those who are motivated and engaged learners seeking to continue their intellectual growth over the summer months. Parent volunteers are encouraged to assist with community lunch. To volunteer, please arrive in the dining lodge at 11:30 am. All lunches include garden fresh salad, orange slices, cookies and milk.
