We want to say a very special thank you to all families in your support with our R Park journeys this week. We had such a fabulous time and truly appreciate parents’ help in getting their children to school on time, which allowed for a timely departure. We can’t wait to go again next month.
Please arrive at the pre-k no later than 3:25pm to pick up your child in order to leave by 3:30. Erin, Emmy, and Paige have a meeting every day that starts at 3:30pm and we appreciate your support in helping us start on time.
We are in need of underwear and pants for our backup oops clothes. If you have any underwear or pants that you would be willing to donate, we would greatly appreciate the donation.
Please bring in your signed parent contract form if you have not done so already. The information in the parent handbook is extremely important and we appreciate you taking the time to read it.
Toys from Home
We ask that all personal toys stay at home. If toys do come to school we will ask that they are kept safe in a cubby. We want to avoid personal toys being lost or misplaced at school. Children are welcome to bring one snuggly item for rest and relaxation time.
Since the weather can change so much throughout the fall season, please bring a rain jacket and rain boots for your child every day. They can be stored in their cubby when not needed. Please bring a pair of shoes that your child can wear inside as well, this will help keep our classroom nice and clean.
Water Bottles and Sleepy Stuff
Don’t forget to bring a water bottle each day for your child.
Please bring sleepy stuff for your child even if they are not napping. During rest and relaxation time children are asked to listen to a story, look at picture book, listen to an audio book or play with a quiet toy on their sleepy mat. Therefore it is helpful to have sleepy stuff for each child. Thank you in advance for your support.
On your child’s last day of the week please bring their water bottle and sleepy stuff home to wash. Water bottles will be in the wooden boxes in the mud room. Sleepy stuff will be put in cubbies. During the week, sleepy stuff will be stored in labeled bags in either the Moran room or the Teewinot Room. Please let us know if there are items that need to go home each day.
We hope you will join us for our first Parent Night of the 2016-2017 school year: Thursday, September 29, 2016 from 5:30-7:30 in the Pre-K classroom. Parent Nights are a way that we communicate about our program, as well as a time for our community of parents and teachers to socialize. You don’t want to miss this important and informative evening! We will provide more information next week regarding childcare. Please rsvp through the paperless post sent out.
