Thank you to Kim Gillett for washing our Oakiwear and re-waterproofing it. We will be ready to fully explore outdoors.
Pick up and Drop off
To be equitable we will encourage any parent that is struggling with drop off or pick up times to contact us so that we can be supportive and help them find solutions if needed.
Pre-K Halloween Celebration
Thank you to the members of the Parent Council for helping to organize the Pre-K Halloween Celebration! We are looking forward to celebrating on Monday, October 31st in the Pre-K classroom. All children are welcome to participate regardless of what day they normally come to school, as long as they are accompanied by an adult if it is not their normal school day. We will depart from the Pre-K classroom at 8:20AM to begin our parade through the school. We will return approximately at 8:50AM for our morning meeting. From 9:00-10:45 children will have the chance to participate in a variety of Halloween themed activities. At 10:45AM, we will say goodbye to parents and friends who have joined us for the morning, change out of costumes and carry on with a normal schedule. (Please bring a change of clothes for your child if they attend school on Monday.) We would love parent volunteers to help with this day. Please contact Julie Scharnhorst, email@example.com if you are able to help out with this fun day. Volunteer opportunities include: preparing a spooky snack, spooky sensory table activities, crafts in the studio, decorating the classroom (definitely spooky), reading Halloween-themed books, cleaning-up the classroom and more!
Save the Date
Our Stone Soup celebration will be Thursday, November 17th. More details to come.
Thank you to the Mater family for providing snack this week! If your child does not come to school on a Monday, we would greatly appreciate if snack could be dropped off the Thursday or Friday before or if possible that Monday morning. This will ensure that we have enough snack for all children throughout the entire week. We truly appreciate all the delicious food parents bring in to give children adequate energy for the day. The next family up is the Emmett Lewis family scheduled for the week of October 31st. If you have a conflict with the week that you are signed up for or have any questions, please direct them to Paige at firstname.lastname@example.org. Below is a reminder for upcoming weeks:
November 7th: Joshua Finkel
November 14th: Francesca Lynch
November 28th: Grier Van Rooyen
Thank you families for providing delicious fresh options for your children.
