Snow, Ice, Cold - Yes, It's Winter
Thank you for your patience and support this week as the valley responded to some wild weather. With creative scheduling and problem solving we were able to keep things fairly normal despite absent staff and students. Recognize that Haiku schedules may be slightly off due to missed classes.
We appreciate all the behind the scenes work from our Administration staff and Property Maintenance staff to help keep things running smoothly. We also appreciate well prepared students who are able to be outside with the Big 5. Extra snacks during all of this cold weather are also encouraged!

Thank You, Middle School!
The fifth grade students enjoyed a day in the middle school this week to get a feel for the Middle Years Program and spend time with future classmates and teachers. Parents of fifth grade students are also invited to the Middle School Information night on Thursday at 5:30 to learn about the program first hand.

PreK Visits to Kindergarten postponed until January 24th and 25th.

Parent Volunteers Needed First Week of February

Second through 5th grade students will be going to Snow King Ice Arena for skating lessons during PE the week of February 6th. We would appreciate help with skates/on skates/off at 12:50 and 1:30 if you can spare a few minutes. Fourth and fifth grade students will be going on the 6th and 8th, and second and third on the 7th and 9th. Please email Kevin at if you can help.
K-1 Students will be exploring other winter sports here on campus in PE class.

Thank you to the Hagedorn family for donating new sleds so we can enjoy all of this snow! Thank you to our snack and rags helpers this week:  Kjera, Heather, and Corbin . Next up for 1/20: Libby, Rudelle, and Corbin . We have quite a few open slots for snacks (especially in lower elementary) coming up so please take another look at the sign up to see if you might be able to help.

Thank you, parents, for all you do!
