Winter Journey
This is a reminder that the high school winter journey takes place next week, Tuesday-Thursday, February 13-15 at Teton Science Schools' Kelly campus. A letter and packing list were emailed last week. Please contact Jonathan Souter if you did not receive the letter.

Upcoming Exam Dates

All Journeys high school students take the PSAT. Eleventh grade students took the exam in the fall, and ninth and tenth grade students will take it in the spring. Ninth and tenth grade students are schedule to take the PSAT at Journeys School the morning of Wednesday, March 14.

Additionally, in an effort to encourage application to college, the State of Wyoming offers to all Wyoming eleventh grade students the opportunity to take the ACT exam for free. Journeys School students have taken advantage of this opportunity since its inception. This year, eleventh grade students will take the ACT at Journeys School the morning of Tuesday, March 20.

9/10 English Plays with Text as Performance
In preparation to read Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, 9th and 10th grade students are working with actress Nicole Palomba, who has played Juliet at the Globe Theatre in London (Wow!). Students are building scenes through "moment work." They write scripts of their scenes which another group will perform on Monday. The goal with this process is to help students better comprehend the characters, plot, and themes in Twelfth Night by developing skills to envision a text as people in action, not just words on a page.
