Pre-K Halloween Celebration
Thank you to the members of the Parent Council for helping to organize the Pre-K Halloween Celebration! We are looking forward to celebrating on Monday, October 31st in the Pre-K classroom. All children are welcome to participate regardless of what day they normally come to school, as long as they are accompanied by an adult if it is not their normal school day. We will depart from the Pre-K classroom at 8:10AM to begin our parade through the school. We will return approximately at 8:40AM for our morning meeting. From 9:00-10:45 children will have the chance to participate in a variety of Halloween themed activities. At 10:45AM, we will say goodbye to parents and friends who have joined us for the morning, change out of costumes and carry on with a normal schedule. (Please bring a change of clothes for your child if they attend school on Monday.) We would love parent volunteers to help with this day. Please contact Julie Scharnhorst, email@example.com if you are able to help out with this fun day. Volunteer opportunities include: preparing a spooky snack, spooky sensory table activities, crafts in the studio, decorating the classroom (definitely spooky), reading Halloween-themed books, cleaning-up the classroom and more!
The open house on Saturday, October 21st from 9am-11 am isn’t just for new families, it is fun for all families! We just ask that you bring a new friend with you! All ages are welcome! We will be offering a morning of Halloween themed activities, including a pumpkin scavenger hunt, baking pumpkin muffins, and making spooky fun messages!
Thank you to the Hadden family for providing snack this week!
If your child does not come to school on a Monday, we would greatly appreciate if snack could be dropped off the Thursday or Friday before or if possible that Monday morning. This will ensure that we have enough snack for all children throughout the entire week. We truly appreciate all the delicious food parents bring in to give children adequate energy for the day.
The next family up is Benton Baker’s family scheduled for the week of October 23rd (4 day week).
If you have a conflict with the week that you are signed up for or have any questions, please direct them to Emmy at firstname.lastname@example.org
Below is a reminder for upcoming weeks:
October 30: Ava Pobre
November 6th: Isla Everett
November 13th: JD White
November 27th: Arlo Souter
Thank you families for providing delicious fresh options for your children!
