Ice, Ice Baby!
Our outdoor skating rink is open! Parents are welcome to join us at recess (10 am and noon). Please see your child's folder for specific guidelines and contact Shannon or Khale with any questions.

Thanks to Julie Kling, Mary Cernicek and Sam Kitchen for providing our healthy snacks. We appreciate the Hitch family for washing our rags. Our ongoing library project would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers, Jenny Hickey, Jill Wright and Amy Taylor. Special thanks to Cindy Daly who is not only spearheading the library project, but also coordinating the parent volunteer effort. The teaching team is so grateful for our generous and thoughtful community!

Service PAWject
As part of a service project related to our winter journey, the K-2 students have been invited to donate the following items for the Animal Adoption Center of Jackson: wet cat and dog food, rawhide chews, Milk Bones, pet treats, sturdy leashes, and quick snap collars. We will collect these items at school until Friday, January 27.

Buzz on the Bee
Third through fifth grade students who would like to participate in the Journeys School edition of the Scripps National Spelling Bee should look for a information packet soon! We will hold our school bee on Friday, February 17th, and we are looking for parent volunteers to help organize and judge. Our Journeys School champion will continue to the Wyoming State Bee on March 17th. Please contact Shannon at shannon.shuptrine@journeysschool.org if you are interested in volunteering or if you have any questions.
