Grizzly Bear in Yellowstone National Park

This two-day, one-night tour allows you to experience Yellowstone in the solitude and serenity of winter. To experience winter in Yellowstone is to share the park with fewer than 100 people versus sharing it with tens of thousands of people in the summer. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is sure to provide you with experiences you'll never forget.

Day 1: You’ll be picked up by your guide in the early morning. Hot drinks and light snacks will be provided, as we travel in a wheeled-vehicle through Grand Teton National Park. Approximately one mile south of the Yellowstone entrance, we transition from the wheeled-vehicle into a customized Mercedes-Benz snowcoach after enjoying a hot buffet style breakfast at Flagg Ranch.  You will travel from the south entrance of Yellowstone to West Thumb Geyser Basin, for a short guided walk. After our stop at West Thumb, we will continue on to Old Faithful. Southeast of Old Faithful, we stop at the Lone Star Geyser trailhead for a 5-mile round trip, cross country ski. Once we arrive to Old Faithful, you’ll have the opportunity to go on a guided walk in the Upper Geyser Basin.  Dinner will take place in the Obsidian Dining Room in the Old Faithful Snow Lodge.

Overnight:  Old Faithful Snow Lodge

Meals:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 2: After breakfast, you’ll have another opportunity to go for a guided walk around the Upper Geyser Basin.  Then, we will make our way to the Fairy Falls trail head, for another cross country ski (about 6 miles round trip).  We will also have an opportunity to take our skis off and hike to the top of the Grand Prismatic Spring overlook. We depart back to Jackson mid-afternoon and return to Jackson by 7 p.m.
