Tour Risk Statement: Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park are remote locales. Traveling in these National Parks in the winter season is adventure travel at its best. Clients must know that conditions are cold, windy and snowy. All travel will occur on uneven terrain that will be covered in snow or ice. Visibility may be limited. Teton Science Schools works to minimize the risk of mechanical failures, but they do occur. Due to the remote nature of these locations, rescue and recovery times may be extended. Teton Science Schools cannot guarantee road conditions and/or road closure events. Clients must accept the risk that they may be unable to return to their departure location in the timeframe that they anticipated. Teton Science Schools will make all reasonable efforts to visit desired destinations, however, due to variable road and weather conditions itineraries may be altered to accommodate changing weather/road conditions. Viewing destination locations cannot be guaranteed in the winter environment of Yellowstone.
