Kings of the Mountains (Grades 7-9)

Answer the call of the wild on an expedition into the rugged terrain surrounding Jackson Hole. Your band of brothers will work as a team on our Doug Walker Challenge Course, paddle glacially-carved lakes, solve mysteries with science, and make a difference through service projects.

Come discover your own strengths on an all-male backpacking expedition into the heart of Wyoming’s wilderness. This experience includes 5 nights at Teton Science Schools’ Kelly Campus, low and high ropes experiences, and 3 nights of backcountry camping. 9 days, 8 nights.

June 25 – Preparing for Adventure: backcountry skills, preparation, and packing
June 26 – Into the Wild: Your Backcountry Adventure Begins
June 27 – Backcountry Field Research: Investigating Life in the High Country
June 28 – Challenge Hike: An Exploration of Wilderness
June 29 – From the mountains to valley: return to campus
June 30 – Service, High Ropes, and Reflection: Service project, high ropes, picnic dinner
July 1 – Celebration and Departure
