The Reggio Emilia atelier (art studio) inspires creation and self-expression through cultivating “a hundred languages” that are possible in the mind of a child. Loris Malaguzzi, founder of the Reggio Emilia philosophy believed that children have a hundred and a hundred more ways of thinking, speaking, listening and making their ideas visible. Through this evening’s workshop we invite you to open your mind to new experiences through exploring the language of printmaking. Our evening will begin with an introduction to working with this medium through past project examples and children’s work. Participants will learn how to use a variety of tools as well as learn a variety of different techniques through open-ended exploration. Come learn through play and be inspired to use new materials and tools in your teaching.

Wine and light refreshments will be provided. 2 Wyoming or Idaho STARS hours are available.

Program runs from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
