The Languages of Materials: Sewing

The Reggio Emilia atelier (art studio) inspires creation and self-expression through cultivating "a hundred languages" that are possible in the mind of a child. Loris Malaguzzi, founder of the Reggio Emilia philosophy, believed that children have hundreds ways of thinking, speaking, listening and making their ideas visible.
