Ultimate Grand Teton Adventure (Grades 7-9)

Hike, backpack, and explore the scientific mysteries of Grand Teton National Park! What is life like on the highest of peaks? Where do creatures hide when the summer sun begins to shine? Head for the mountains and use the powers of field science to shine a light on the natural world during an epic journey into the wilderness surrounding Jackson Hole.

The Ultimate Grand Teton Adventure includes 5 nights at Teton Science Schools’ Jackson Campus, a high ropes experience, and 4 nights of backcountry camping focused on field science projects.

July 28 – Preparing for Adventure: backcountry skills, preparation, and packing
July 29 – “The mountains are calling…” and your backcountry adventure begins!
July 30 – Backcountry Exploration and Field Science Projects
July 31 – Backcountry Exploration and Field Science Projects
August 1 – Backcountry Exploration and Field Science Projects
August 2 – From the mountains to valley: return to campus
August 3 – Reflection on Science and Adventure: High Ropes Course, Picnic Dinner
August 4 – Celebration, Field Research Project Presentations, and Departure
