What We Do
Pre-K - Grade 12
The independent schools of Teton Science Schools provide a unique Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 education in the shadows of the mountains on either side of Teton Pass. The two campuses in Jackson, Wyoming and Teton Valley, Idaho operate using a unified learning model and aligned faculty.
Bring your students into one of nature’s most incredible classrooms—the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Teton Science Schools provides year-round programming for student groups from across the country. We design programs with education and fun in mind. Collaborate with our experienced staff to develop a three- to seven-day program that meets your needs, interests and objectives.
Join us for outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and fun. Our summer camps offer a progression of place-based experiences for all ages. Explore Jackson Hole and Teton Valley while making new friends, learning new skills and discovering new places.
Wildlife Expeditions of Teton Science Schools presents wildlife education at its best. For 20 years, Wildlife Expeditions has shared the magic of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks with visitors and locals alike. We design our trips to maximize your wildlife experiences while minimizing our environmental impact. Discover and learn about wildlife on a half, full, or multi-day tour with one of our knowledgeable guides, window seat guaranteed.
Professional Development and Consulting
Teton Science Schools serves current and aspiring educators through professional development for practicing educators and the first year of a graduate program. We work with pre-service, in-service, and informal educators through a year-long graduate program, school and district consulting and professional development workshops. Programs combine place-based education with innovative leadership strategies for educational reform.
Teton Science Schools’ Graduate Program combines academic courses, teaching experiences and a small group of peers to position students as effective place-based educators and leaders. You’ll experience a unique blend of training through coursework in ecology and education with teaching experiences in Grand Teton National Park and with public and independent schools.
