Vehicles & Amenities
Our customized vehicles with multiple roof hatches, public address systems and interactive learning materials allow you many options to observe wildlife on our safaris. Our tour group sizes are always very small as we only sell the window seats in our vehicles. Premium spotting scopes and high-quality binoculars are provided on every safari.
Specimen kits contain skulls, pelts, antlers, and hooves. Maps, snacks, coffee and a cooler full of beverages are provided on every trip. Young Naturalist packets are also provided to offer hands on activities for children.
Wildlife Expeditions provides binoculars and spotting for every person on every safari so that you can observe wildlife from a distance.
We take pride in the quality of equipment we provide, which includes:
Brunton Eterna Mid-Size Binoculars, which boast a multi-step eye relief system that allows for comfortable viewing, even with eyeglasses. State-of-the-art multi-coatings give the Mid-Size a leg up on reflective sunlight and are responsible for sharpening edges and protecting colors.
Kowa Spotting Scopes provide the highest level of optical performance and are fully multi-coated for brighter, clearer and sharper viewing.
Bogen Manfrotto Tripods and Video Heads provide the ultimate in scope and camera support technology. We also provide an array of digital cameras and camera phone adapters.
Every guest has a window seat. We typically do not book the middle seat on our safaris, so you won't miss a thing as you travel through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Custom roof hatches provide superior views for photography and wildlife observation.
Our custom safari style vehicles offer a comfortable, spacious interior with large windows and roof hatches that allow you to rise up above the van for an unobstructed view of it all.
Since we typically only sell window seats, most expeditions are limited to seven clients, thus the middle seats provide space for a backpack, camera case or extra jacket.
Wildlife Expeditions are very kid friendly. Young Naturalist packets are available for children of all ages.
Each kit contains markers and packets containing a mammal's field guide, a scatology key and "scat rap," educational fun and games including connect the dots, crossword puzzles, mazes, coloring pages and more.
All Wildlife Expeditions incorporate hands-on learning by providing clients with the opportunity to experience the animals up close and personal. All of our tours include specimen kits that contain skulls, pelts, antlers, hooves and other items such as eagle talons, predator casts, an actual tree limb gnawed on by a beaver and alfalfa pellets which are used instead of hay to feed the elk on the elk refuge. Safaris also provide laminated field guides, maps and charts.
