Old Faithful Winter Expedition
The Old Faithful Winter Expedition provides a unique perspective on Yellowstone’s geothermal features in a dramatic winter landscape. Our experienced guides bring you to the unique thermal features of Old Faithful, Upper Geyser Basin and West Thumb Geyser Basin. Travel from Jackson, WY to Flagg Ranch (just south of Yellowstone) in wheeled vehicles. Then our custom designed Mercedes-Benz Snowcoach takes you over snow packed roads through Yellowstone National Park. We provide breakfast and lunch along with the use of high quality optics, Yaktrax traction devices and walking poles. National Park entrance fees and gratuity are not included.
Offered: December 15, 2016 – March 15, 2017. Offered daily and can be arranged as a privately arranged expedition.
Trip Duration: 12-13 hours total. Pick up times vary between 6:00-6:45 am. Your pick up time and location will be confirmed prior to your expedition.

Teton Science Schools is an authorized concessioner of the National Park Service, providing snowcoach tours, ski and snowshoe trips, photography and chartered programs in Yellowstone National Park.
Cancellation Policy: Teton Science Schools reserves the right to cancel any program at our discretion as it relates to weather conditions, poor road conditions, low enrollment (less than 4 participants) and equipment availability. All clients will receive full refunds if Teton Science Schools cancels an expedition for the reasons stated above.
Regularly Scheduled Single Day Expeditions: No refunds will be issued if the clients cancel an expedition with 48 hours of the scheduled departure. Cancellations occurring prior to 48 hours are subject to a $25 transaction fee.
Expedition Risk Statement: Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park are remote locales. Traveling in these National Park's in the winter season is adventure travel at its best. Clients must know that conditions are cold, windy, and snowy. All travel will occur on uneven terrain that will be covered in snow or ice. Visibility may be limited. Teton Science Schools works to minimize the risk of mechanical failures, but they do occur. Due to the remote nature of these locations, rescue and recovery times may be extended. Teton Science Schools cannot guarantee road conditions and/or road closure events. Clients must accept the risk that they may be unable to return to their departure location in the timeframe that they anticipated. Teton Science Schools will make all reasonable efforts to visit desired destinations, however, due to variable road and weather conditions itineraries may be altered to accommodate changing weather/road conditions. Viewing destination locations cannot be guaranteed in the winter environment of Yellowstone.
