Teton Science Schools invites parents, educators, and community members to join us for a meaningful evening of conversation with Dr. Michael Thompson, a nationally recognized clinical psychologist, author, and speaker. This community conversation, The Pressured Child, explores the growing pressures children face today and offers practical strategies to support their emotional well-being.

Understanding the Pressure Children Face
From academic expectations to social demands and packed schedules, many children experience stress at increasingly young ages. In The Pressured Child, Dr. Thompson examines the causes and impacts of this pressure and shares research-based insights into how adults can better support children’s development, resilience, and sense of self.
This conversation is designed for anyone who works with or cares for children, parents, caregivers, teachers, and school leaders alike.
