Tuition Assistance

A commitment to affordability

Mountain Academy welcomes curious and engaged students. We’re committed to providing a great education for those who will thrive in our dynamic program, with financial assistance available to help make it possible.

Lets Get Started

School and Student Services

Mountain Academy is proud to partner with Ravenna Financial Aid to facilitate our tuition assistance program.

If your family would like to be considered for tuition assistance as part of your application to Mountain Academy, please notify the admissions point person, and our team will work with you on your process.

Tuition Assistance Application Process

Indicate your intention to apply for tuition assistance on the admission application. When prompted on the admissions application, indicate that you intend to apply for tuition assistance.

Complete the tuition assistance application online through Ravenna Financial Aid. New families should submit their tuition assistance application as soon as possible for the upcoming school year.

Mountain Academy’s Tuition Assistance Committee reviews each request for tuition assistance and determines the tuition assistance grant based on the family’s needs and the school’s budget.

Tuition assistance decisions are announced to new families in January, should all aforementioned deadlines have been met. After this date, tuition assistance decisions will be announced once your application for consideration of tuition assistance and your application for consideration of admission are completed. These applications are then reviewed on a rolling basis starting at the beginning of February.

Returning families who are in good standing with the business office and have met all aforementioned tuition assistance deadlines will hear from Mountain Academy regarding their grants for the upcoming school year in February and March.

Enrollment Agreement Signatures are due on or before January 31.

Tuition Assistance is on a Rolling Basis

Tuition assistance is offered on a rolling basis for both returning and new families. We encourage families to begin the PFS process early to allow time to gather documents, request support, and submit applications. Available funds are limited, and awards are made as applications are reviewed. If you are interested in applying now, please submit an application here.

At Mountain Academy, we believe every child deserves an education rooted in place, purpose, and community. That’s why we’re excited about Wyoming’s new Education Savings Account (ESA) program, which opens the door for more families to join our learning community.

Tuition Assistance FAQs

Mountain Academy tuition assistance includes books, tuition costs, class Journeys and in some cases, the Lunch Program. Tuition assistance does not include capstone fees.

Mountain Academy’s goal is to support as many families as possible, and all tuition assistance is based on need. All tuition assistance awards are contingent upon the receipt of one of the required tax documents from both parents, if applicable, as well as the completion of all steps in the process by the stated deadlines. This process remains confidential between the Mountain Academy Tuition Assistance Committee and Business Office.

Please allow ample time to complete the required form and meet all deadlines. If you have any questions during the process, please contact matuitionassistance@tetonscience.org or call 307.733.1313.

Nondiscrimination Policy
