At Mountain Academy’s Jackson Campus, we are fortunate to work alongside educators who inspire, challenge, and nurture our youngest learners every day. This month, one of our own received an honor that truly reflects the impact of her dedication and passion.
Maria Vazquez, Lead Young Toddler Teacher, was recognized on Thursday, October 16th, with the Champion of Children Award—a prestigious accolade that celebrates outstanding Early Childhood Educators in Teton County. Maria took home the top honor, earning the title of Best Early Childhood Educator of 2025.
Maria’s approach to teaching is rooted in patience, kindness, and a deep love for helping children grow. She creates a learning environment where curiosity is encouraged, challenges are embraced, and every child feels seen and valued. Her dedication is contagious, inspiring both her students and her colleagues alike.
Receiving the Champion of Children Award is no small feat. It is a reflection of Maria’s exceptional skill, her unwavering commitment to her students, and the positive difference she makes in our community every day.
We are beyond proud to have Maria on our team at Mountain Academy. Her work exemplifies the heart of early childhood education, and this recognition is so incredibly well deserved.
