Greta Bonomo

Greta graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South in 2024 with a double major in Environmental Arts and Humanities and Mathematics. While at Sewanee, she built her outdoor leadership experience as a trip leader for the university’s outing program, directed the PRE-Orientation three-day camping program, and served as director of a sustainable living and learning community. She also spent a semester in Kenya studying wildlife ecology. Greta’s passion for exploring the environment through multiple lenses led her to join TSS as an AmeriCorps member. She later worked as a field educator at McDowell Environmental Center in Nauvoo, Alabama, before returning to TSS as a Field Instructor, Lead Instructor, and AmeriCorps Mentor. Outside of work, Greta enjoys biking, skiing, and trail running.
