Kristina Kaly is a dedicated educator and advocate for science, outdoor education, and environmental stewardship. With years of experience as an elementary teacher in the Salt Lake City School District (SLCSD), she now serves as an Elementary Academic Science Coach for SLCSD.
Kristina has received recognition for her contributions to education and environmental science, including the Utah Elementary Science Team Award (2024) and the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (2016). She has also served as Board Chair of the Wasatch Mountain Institute and currently sits on the Steering Committee for Nature in the Classroom.
She holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Utah, an M.A.T. from Westminster College, and is a certified Utah Master Naturalist.
