Siena Hester

Siena is a gentle soul whose daily life is driven by her deep love for nature. Whether she is exploring with her pups, floating on a river, or simply admiring the sky’s beauty, she thrives on the wholeness nature provides. Although she has always lived in the mountains, her first love will always be the Colorado Plateau. Wandering through the sandstone slickrock in Southern Utah will forever be one of her favorite things to do. Siena earned her Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainable Food and Farming from the University of Montana, where she explored the intersection of science and humanity. This background, paired with her passion for learning, inspired her admiration for place-based education. Firmly believing that to know one’s place is to love it, Siena hopes to instill wonder and care for our big, beautiful Earth in the young, capable minds of Mountain Academy’s preschool students.
