Jackson, Wyoming—Mountain Academy of Teton Science Schools is pleased to share a first look at the 2025–26 faculty team at the Jackson Campus. We are thrilled to welcome several outstanding new educators and celebrate the return of experienced faculty members who bring passion, expertise, and dedication to our students and mission.
Among the new additions to the Jackson Campus team is Chris Bessonette, who will join as Head of School. Chris brings a dynamic and diverse background in education, from outdoor leadership with NOLS to dual language immersion teaching and Fulbright research in bilingual education.
We are delighted to welcome several new team members this year: Sam Neirman as Middle School Math and Science Faculty, Jenny Brackin as Kindergarten–First Grade Faculty, Joanna Cooke as Elementary School Faculty, Brendan Barnard as Spanish Faculty, and Rachel Rubin as Early Childhood Assistant Director and Lead Preschool Teacher.
This dynamic group of educators is committed to fostering curiosity, resilience, and a strong sense of place in their students, hallmarks of a Mountain Academy education.
