With a place-based approach, learning can be personally relevant to students and enable student agency while allowing a teacher to be the guide or facilitator instead of the holder of all information. In this virtual workshop, explore and discuss how learner-centered practices can support a personalized approach.

Professional Learning Objectives:

  • I can serve as a guide or facilitator, where learners do a majority of the work of learning.
  • I can create opportunities for learners to have “voice and choice” within learning experiences and assessments, to increase engagement, agency, and relevance.

This virtual workshop is free to Wyoming and Place Network School teachers. Please email professionallearning@tetonscience.org for the discount code.
