A unique trip brought together two RSC hub partners for intentional learning, memorable experiences, and crucial relationship building in the beautiful snow-covered Teton Mountains.
Recently, members of the Monmouth College (Illinois) TARTANS Rural Teacher Corps took a trip to Teton Science Schools. Illinois Hub Lead and RSC Board Member Tammy La Prad led her team of teacher-candidates and faculty to the Tetons, where Northern Rockies Hub Lead Leslie Cook and her team led the students in a variety of activities and lessons. Showing the power of partnerships, this trip was designed to immerse the TARTANS in place-based learning and provide tangible takeaways for their future careers back in Illinois.
