If you haven’t noticed Teton Village has really changed over the years. Once a small little ski village is today a bustling ski resort. Wildlife Expeditions has partnered with the Teton Village Association to provide educational opportunities to visitors and locals alike. During the summer of 2011 Kevin Taylor, Faculty and Journeys parent, conducted a weekly lecture series called Alive @ 5. It was a great success. At the request of many Teton Village hotels Wildlife Expeditions was able to engage the public with a winter version of Alive @ 5, called Skins, Skulls and Snow. Katie Mahoney, Jackson Campus instructor and Wildlife Expeditions guide, provided a great experience to many families. In the apres ski hours Katie had a hands on display of skulls, antlers, horns and pelts. This is just one of the many ways Teton Science Schools helps to inspire visitors of Jackson Hole.
